Pathways for Boys/Purpose for Girls
Middle school is a time that can be exciting and sometimes a little scary. At this stage, students are dealing with a multiplicity of changes that are taking place simultaneously. Students have more teachers, increased rigor in courses, a heavier homework load, higher expectation of independence and new social rules. But that’s not the end of it, in addition to those changes your child is also experiencing a flood of hormones and body changes which could also be scary. So how can we help? Enroll your child in our summer preparation program. Your student will have the opportunity to learn from their school counselor and talk to other students about their experiences and best practices while at Landon. The Pathways & Purpose transition program was developed to equip your child with the skills needed to be successful at the middle school level.
Do you want to ensure that your child has a smooth transition into middle school? Do you want him to be better equipped with the necessary tools to navigate through the adolescent years? If so, don’t miss out on the opportunity for your child to attend JLCP’s pathways program.
This is a three-day program will take place from 9am-2pm during the summer. Dates for the upcoming summer sessions will be announced in April/May of the current school year.
